Episode 21: Interview with Hannah Lebovits on Social Sustainability, Children's Safety, and Caring for your Community

Hannah Lebovits, incoming Assistant Professor of Public Administration at the University of Texas, Arlington joins us today to discuss the importance of valuing  livelihoods and safety from a social sustainability perspective. She shares her recent Twitter posting on the experience of her children attending a summer camp, where numerous individuals were infected with the virus, and what this means for schools reopening in the fall. Professor Lebovits shares why it is important to value social systems of sustainability, and we discuss how this often occurs through grassroots efforts while leadership must learn to incorporate social determinants of health and social sustainability.
