Episode 10: Building Bridges - A Feminist Proactive Economic Response to COVID-19 in Hawai’i

What does COVID-19 economic recovery look like when considering the health and status of women?  The State of Hawai’i took quick action to provide an answer to this with respect to income inequality and economic security for women and their families, and developed the nation's first feminist economic plan for COVID-19 response. In this episode we speak to  Khara Jabola-Carolus and Dr. Kealoha Fox of the Hawai’i Commission on the Status of Women to learn about the background and the goals of this plan for this and many generations forward.
